Services For Vet Staff
The Locum Vet (TLV) was created by vets for vets and we are truly excited about this project
At TLV we arrange shifts for the veterinarians and the clinics seeking locums. We also try to match the skills, preferences, and boundaries of the locums with the practices’ needs/wants. Every locum will have a different skillset which enriches our profession’s diversity. Setting preferences and boundaries is encouraged.
Our intention is for the TLV is to become a network of locums where we provide support for each other. Being a locum can be tough, the expectations of practice owners can be high and locuming might feel isolating. Our goal is to do everything in our power to support locum vets so that they stay in practice, fulfilled and happy with the work they do. This is accomplished through The Locum Vet Support Network where we organise sessions for professional growth, CPD, case reviews, discussion of working conditions, and shared experiences in a supportive community.
